In spring 2018, ISIT signed a partnership agreement with Kent State University (KSU), a major American university based in Kent, Ohio.
The agreement establishes a dual master’s degree program in Intercultural Digital Strategy, one of ISIT’s flagship postgraduate specialties.
After two years of specialist training, students will be awarded two degrees, one French and one American: qualifications that will offer them excellent job prospects in the digital sphere and are recognized in both countries and throughout the world.
Organization and target audience
This selective course, taught entirely in English, will begin in 2019 and will span two years, as follows:
- First year of study in the Visual Communication Design Department at Kent State University (KSU)
- Second year at ISIT studying Intercultural Digital Strategy, including a 6-month internship in a company or international organization.
The course is aimed at French and international students with a strong interest in intercultural communication and digital technology in a globalized world.
Excellent job prospects in the digital sector
The dual master’s degree program aims to produce a generation of young professionals with the digital skills recruiters are looking for.
Its students will receive two years of high-quality training, ranging from technical content on graphical user interfaces and UX design, to digital communication strategy (web cultures, graphical representation of information, data visualization). They will emerge equipped to meet the challenges of adapting our digital environments (websites, user journeys, etc.) to different cultures and practices.
The program will also meet fast-growing demand for qualified labor in the digital sector.
Major corporations, consulting firms and international organizations alike confirm that, across all sectors, recruitment of multilingual digital experts, armed with intercultural skills that make them key players in a globalized world, is rising constantly.
Widening our double-degree offer
ISIT and KSU’s ambitious and innovative Intercultural Digital Strategy program is the latest incarnation of ISIT’s international double-degrees policy,
following the existing double-degrees in China, with Beijing Language and Culture University (BLCU) and Guangdong University of Foreign Studies (GDUFS), and Lebanon, with Saint Joseph University, Beirut (USJ).
