Communication and marketing
Laureline chose to spend her 5th year as a marketing apprentice in the agribusiness sector.
What does your job entail?
My job is to support the product manager, which involves a variety of tasks: developing sales arguments, supporting product launches, translating product data sheets, carrying out market studies, updating our catalog—and that is just the beginning! There is no “typical day,” which is what I like about this job.
Why do an apprenticeship?
I have always worked during my studies to stay financially independent. Apprenticeship was a natural choice because it allowed me to pair my student life with a professional experience in line with my career objectives.
What are the benefits of apprenticeship?
There is no better way to learn than by doing, which is what makes apprenticeships so fulfilling. It gives you an edge over the others in the jobs market, because you can provide proof of real experience, which shows employers that you can follow through on projects and that you have already achieved a certain level of independence and acquired valuable skills along the wat. It is also a fantastic opportunity to develop contacts for your future job search(es).
And on a personal level?
Apprenticeship taught me how to work: I’m more disciplined in my personal organization and I manage my time better. I also developed better interpersonal skills through my working relationships.
This job really lets me be myself!
